A critical role of any Leader in today’s workplace is to coach their team so they can achieve their best. When you coach your team, you may support them in making better decisions, learn new skills, solve complex problems, or support their progress in their role and career. While some leaders in organisations and indeed in schools are fortunate enough to get formal training whether that be through your school, the department or on your own methods, many are not. Some develop their coaching skills for themselves, on the job.
